Méka Brunel

Méka Brunel is a business leader in the real estate industry. She is an ETP engineer and FRICS and has an Executive MBA from HEC. From 1996, she held a range of management positions at Simco, which later merged with Gecina. In 2006, she became Chief Executive Officer of Eurosic, before joining Ivanhoé Cambridge in 2009 as Executive President Europe. She has been a Director at Gecina since 2014 and was appointed as its Chief Executive Officer in January 2017. Fully involved in both community life and industry associations, particularly as Honorary President of the HQE-France GBC association, Vice-Chairwoman of the Palladio Foundation, Chair & Director of EPRA, Director of FSIF, Méka Brunel was appointed as a Director of Hammerson plc in November 2019. He is a founding President of the British Academy of Management, President of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), former President of RELATE and President of the Institute of Welfare.  He was the Founding Editor of the Journal of Organizational Behaviour, former Editor of the scholarly journal Stress and Health and is the Editor-in-Chief of the Wiley-Blackwell Encyclopaedia of Management, now in its’ 3rd Edition. He has been an advisor to the World Health Organisation, ILO, and EU in the field of occupational health and wellbeing, was Chair of the Global Agenda Council on Chronic Disease of the World Economic Forum (2009-2010) (then served for 5 years on the Global Agenda Council for mental health of the WEF) and was Chair of the Academy of Social Sciences 2009-2015. Cary is the Chair of the National Forum for Health & Wellbeing at Work (comprised of 40 global companies eg BP, Microsoft, NHS Executive, U.K. government, Rolls Royce, John Lewis Partnership, etc>). Cary is the author/editor of over 250 books in the field of occupational health psychology, workplace wellbeing, women at work and occupational stress. He was awarded the CBE by the Queen in for his contributions to occupational health; and in 2014 he was awarded a Knighthood for his contribution to the social sciences.

Michael Cooper

George Dark has spent 35 years as a Partner and Managing Partner at Urban Strategies, as a senior consultant and council with the firm on an ongoing basis. George is the Chairman of the Centre for Social Innovation in Toronto and past founding Chair of the Social Innovation Institute Foundation. He is also a member of the College of Fellows of the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects and the Council of Fellows of the American Society of Landscape Architects. He was awarded the second Canadian Governor General’s Medal in Landscape Architecture in 2018, which is the highest honour awarded a landscape architect in Canada. A Principal since 1989, he became Chief Operating Officer, Canadian Operations in July 2015. In 1986, he became a Partner at Helyar which grew to be the largest construction cost consulting company in Canada before taking the company public in 2005, where he remained as president until 2011. Thereafter, Niall Co-Founded Finnegan Marshall Inc., whose focus is on providing proactive construction cost and development advisory services to the private sector real estate development industry. Finnegan Marshall have 150 plus projects under construction at any one time and are also working on a large number of projects in the pre-construction stage. Finnegan Marshall typically work on projects with their real estate developer clients from land acquisition through planning approvals, pre-sales or leasing, and design development with the object of producing the most cost-efficient design for maximum return. They are very actively engaged in tendering and negotiating construction contracts for their clients.
