The Alberta Real Estate Forum team is offering attendees preferential rates at hotels within close proximity to the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre. Below are the negotiated hotel rates available between October 20-21. To make reservations by phone, please mention that you are attending the Alberta Real Estate Forum. The discounted rates are available for a limited time period. To benefit from these rates, please make your reservations early.

The aforementioned rates are guaranteed for attendees of the Alberta Real Estate Forum only. By making a reservation using these preferred rates, you are confirming that you are registered to attend Alberta Real Estate Forum. Informa Markets reserves the right to adjust any reservations to standard rack rate or remove the reservation from the Alberta Real Estate Forum room block if, following audit, it is evident that the reservation is held on behalf of someone that is not planning to attend the Forum. INFORMA DOES NOT WORK WITH OUTSIDE COMPANIES FOR ATTENDEE HOTEL ROOMS 

Informa Connect is aware that unauthorized housing companies (called hotel “poachers”) every year contact registered attendees offering cheaper rates at hotels in Informa’s Alberta Real Estate Forum hotel block. The poacher rates are usually quoted in US$ and initially appear less expensive.

Often when the attendee arrives at the hotel – the hotel is already sold out and has no record of the reservation.

This practice, also known as “room pirating” is a scam that all attendees and exhibitors should be aware of in order to avoid passing along personal and financial information. Hotel poachers will claim to be an Informa, Alberta Real Estate Forum “partner” or the “official housing company” and will ask that your room be paid in full in advance of the convention. We work directly with the hotel for Alberta Real Estate Forum and reservations can be made directly with the hotels via the respective websites.
